Intimate Tea Ceremony
Aurora is one of those rare souls whose presence immediately feels like a warm embrace. She has a natural way of making you feel seen and heard, embracing you with her smile and open heart.
Recently, she invited me into her new home—a space that feels like a sanctuary. The tall ceilings, the large windows flooding the space with light, and the bright white walls exude a calm, vintage charm that reflects her own gentle, thoughtful energy. Her love for beauty, simplicity, and mindful presence is filling every corner.
From the moment I arrived, Aurora made me feel at home. She led me to the tea room, a peaceful space where we sat and shared a beautiful tea ceremony together before the session began. Watching her hands move—slow, soft, and graceful—was like witnessing poetry in motion. Each movement was intentional and rhythmic, a meditative dance as she poured cup after cup of tea. There was something so serene about the way she served, as if time itself had slowed down, inviting us into a moment of deep presence.
After the ceremony, Aurora continued the process, using different pots, bowls, scoops—each crafted from clay, stone, or wood. The earth elements were so deeply woven into the space, grounding us in the natural world. The light gently trickled in through the windows, highlighting the textures of the fabrics on the tea table, the steam rising from her freshly poured tea, and the soft lines of her hands—veins like rivers, carrying the flow of life.
Witnessing Aurora in her element was nothing short of magical. The quiet contemplation she brings into her life is reflected not only in the way she moves but in the objects she surrounds herself with—the handmade, the natural, the beautiful. It reminded me of the power of stillness, the art of slowing down, and the deep beauty in small, intentional moments. Photographing her was a meditative experience in itself, and I felt privileged to capture the delicate, subtle divinity of her process.
